Satsang+Bible Study in Vadodara/ Every Saturday/9AM-12noon
Are you someone who wishes to do something to improve society but were not sure how to do so? Here’s good news. You can now become part of a team that is making a change. With God’s help, in God’s way. Through fasting and prayer. Skip your Saturday Breakfast to pray for the welfare and good of Vadodara. A Bible Study will be conducted from 10:30AM-12noon. The fruit of these meetings have been a love for God and people. Side effects include people healed from suicidal tendencies, physical healings, counselling and God directed career planning.
English Service in Vadodara/Every Sunday - 8AM-10:30AM
Our services are Bible based – there is fellowship time, prayer time, testimony time, worship in songs and dance (our children love it!), communion (on the 1st Sunday of the month) and everything that the Bible allows. The Word of God is preached not by just the elder but also by everyone else as Jesus leads.
We believe that the church is not always about Mr. Pulpit speaking to an audience, but as the Bible recommends ‘when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying’ (I Corinthians 14:26). There is a place for pulpit preaching, but its definitely not every Sunday.
Hindi Service (Satsang) in Vadodara/Every Saturday – 5PM Onwards & Sundays 10:30AM Onwards
‘Satsang’ is a gathering of people who love God and worship Him on a Biblical basis. This is a time of sharing our experiences, worshiping thorough musical instruments, learning from our Guru Jesus, praying and doing everything that shows our love of God and reflecting that love towards each other. This meeting is in Hindi. Direct your Hindi speaking friends here.
Children’s Sunday School/Every Sunday - 10:30AM-12Noon
The Jesus Temple recognises the value of children to God and society. We also understand that when they live in the knowledge and wisdom of God they will have a super present and an awesome future. I must say that the children in the Jesus Temple bring joy to God and have fun doing so.
Our teacher takes them to a huge and lovely park where they study the Word of God using objects that surround them (they write in the mud, like Jesus did). They have great fun chasing the squirrels, plucking the wild flowers and also sharing tracts with onlookers.
Its OK to quote in a classroom, Jesus’ words, that flowers are more beautiful than King Solomon’s apparel. Its better when children can touch and feel these flowers and discover that they are surely more delicate and beautiful than any modern apparel.
