The sad thing about this is that most children are NOT being taught the Word of God at home from their own parents. Nor are many of them even taught Church etiquette by their parents. The last thing I will mention is the lack of discipline by the parents. It all starts in the home and it's the parents responsibility to teach their own children. Sheila and I are mandated by the Lord to teach our kids and I believe you and Anna believe the same for yours.

Now, about the children in the services. I can agree with what you are saying. What did Jesus do? I can't recall Him ever separating them, However, it's something I need to study and search the scriptures to be sure.

Are you against having another room or rooms available, other than the sanctuary, for parents whose kids are having a melt down and they cannot seem to get them under control? This of course would be to not cause a major disruption in the main body.

And they are not being disciplined at home by their on Either they don't know enough to teach them or they are to lazy to mention the name of Jesus

Hello Reni,

My email is thomas@jesustemple.org

The steps that I took?
- I disconnected cable TV. The benefits of this is another article in itself.
- Invested in quality DVD's and books. It still amazes me how much my sons are interested in value based literature and movies. Our DVDs include shows like the various BBC's David Attenbrough wildlife series, BBC's Art, History, Space DVDs; learning DVDs from Leapfrog; lots of Kid Songs (not rhymes).
- Sometimes I buy popular and yet 'clean' Bollywood titles. Before I show them to my sons, I view them with my wife. Sad to say, I hesitate to show these 'clean' stuff to my sons - they have themes/scenes that are immoral/violent. (Titles I have: Lage Raho Munnabhai, 3 Idiots, A Wednesday, Khosla ka Ghosla. Hollywood has a cleaner choice - The Sound of Music, Life is Beautiful, Ben Hur are ones I have).

Very true.
This article tells us something which is persistent in our society and needs to be taken care of.
But I'd like to know what steps the author took to keep the author's family away from all these Bollywood stuff.
Since sometimes it gets embarrasing.
I'd really appreciate if the author shares his/her e-mail ID with us.
